After seeing the shots of Frank Winspur of Mobius Models with the actual kit in his hands posted on CultTVMans site I decided that this is a definite MUST HAVE for me! The plastic kit actually looks like Boris and Elsa and since I am a Karloff Frankenstein fan it's a no-brainer. I passed on the Frankenstein at the door simply because it didn't look like him but this one does; it makes me wonder why the first one didn't.
Take a look and enjoy!

The seam location on the creatures head is genius.
Thanks to Moebius, Jeff Yagher and everyone involved in this project, simply a beautiful styrene kit!
Andy
That looks amazing. Too bad i was never any good at putting models together.
kewell, and will get.
Hey! Now that's a kit! Many parts, and it looks like it's cast in styrene plastic. Is that the case?
Is this type of quality typical of Moebius kits?
???
Does anyone know the length or width of this kit yet? I'm running out of space in my display case, and with the 2 figures I need to know the dimensions to see if it will fit. If not, I'm afraid some other monster is getting the boot, as this is a must display model.

looks like 9" wide * 7" deep * 7" high. before i punched up the link i was thinking 12" wide before. still a large kit.
It's amazing how the detail on plastic models have changed. This is a must have kit. Even though I am out of space in my Uniersal Room until I build the addition, I will still get this and fit in in somehow. But with the stack of models ahead of me it is going to be awhile anyway but at least I will have it. Yeagher has brought his resin talents to plastic.
HOME RUN! So relieved to see it didn't get screwed with somewhere along it's production line. A definite ''must have''!
That looks like 1/6th scale. Anyone know?
Thanks
I think the box reads 1:8 but I 'm not sure.
I've been sold on this for months now!!
WOW this looks more like it, exellent like-ness of both the bride & franky, mmm this could be the best frankenstein kit made in plastic, looking good Mobius.
and thanks westbatman for posting the pics ;D
This is the best!!!

Exactly my thoughts. This is a beauty for sure. I'll have to get this one.
Can't wait! This is destined to be a classic kit.
There's no way I can wait for this one. I have glue and paint smeared on my monitor now.
I grew up with those great Aurora kits, but this is by far the best polystyrene monster kit ever.
When is this and the Creature carrying Julie kit coming out??????? These are must haves for sure!
Cant wait to get my hairy paws on this one! Cheers for the sprue shots, looks excellent.
lets see... moebius frank + bride model... moebius lugosi variant with victim... creature with victim... they need to redo all the aurora/moebius with (female) victims versions now... mummy... phantom (altho someone did one)... hyde... i-man... quasi...
Are these out yet? Does anyone actually have one?
awesome. .. wow.
Most excited I've been about a plastic kit in a while. Creature looks good too!! Hopeully Moebius learned from their early mistakes like the first Frankenstein and their quality will continue to improve. :D

Howdy all - I'm picking up a couple cases of these and if you haven't pulled the trigger on buying one, check out the classifieds section for a UMA Family friendly price.
Just got my kit......it's awesome. Needed two so I can keep one unbuilt.
Anybody get started on this bad boy yet?
nope, got a couple. still stockpiling supplies and building display shelves as i have loads of models to build. and dogs and cats to keep off them. but it looks like a real treat.
Just got mine...this thing is a monster! 90 pieces! You have to see it in person to truly appreciate it.
Wow, that's amazing! I wish I had the skills to put this together.
Now, be honest, is there anyone here who can match the built-up used in the prototype pictures? How much would you charge?
anyone still selling this???

I use only the finest latex house paints, premium glue (Elmer's White), and finishing techniques (Bondo). PM me and we'll talk price.
Scatter painting kits is as absurd as Mord working at a highschool.... oh, wait a minute ....never mind.

I picked one up on Saturday morning and put much of it together that day. It's a beautiful work of art, the sculpture. I just sit and stare at it! :) The pieces go together so nicely, really well made. It's pretty simple to put together too. The Elvira model was a little more challenging. This is a modern classic. I put some putty on some seams and tiny gaps, but it's just great.
I honestly can't think of a better styrene kit from any era.
I got mine in the mail last week and have been working on it about 4 days now. I'm doing some modifications on Frankie's jacket to make it look more like the actual movie. It's not tattered enough on the kit and I wanted to get it movie accurate. I have the monter and the brides heads done and the monsters arms. It's going to take me awhile to finish the bad boy because I only have a couple of hours to work on it a day if even that. I'll post mine when I'm done, but I have to tell everyone that it's a great kit. A real work of art!
