I believe that there are many females that just kick a$$ in metal but maybe many males don't take them seriously since metal is a predominately male thing. I certainly love seeing the talent that the girls can add to and be the star of certain bands. It brings a whole different level of emotion to the table.
So without further ado...

I am not a fan of all these bands, perhaps half but ya gotta admit that the music and the voice combos are "right"
LMK what ya think.

Sounds like she was a fan of W.O.W (R.I.P)
I got to meet Wendy O. Williams. It must've been about 1981 or 82. She was the guest on a show in Boston called People Are Talking, I was in the audience. She was very nice and I took some photo's of her and got her autograph.
Here's my metal queen--I mentioned her over at the non-video metal queen thread.
She's Runhild Gammelsaeter and she was only 17 when this was recorded. That's her doing both the pretty, etherial vocals AND the gutteral death-like growls. Amazing. The band is Thorr's Hammer from Washington and they play a death/doom metal blend and this is my favorite song of theirs. Play at maximum volume!
