votes: 1
Option 3: 10-15
votes: 0
Option 4: 20-25
votes: 1
Option 5: 25+
votes: 17
I wouldn't be surprised if all the votes went to 25+, but the most I've ever seen a movie is 6 times (House on Haunted Hill)
Honestly, like so many of us here...I can watch the same movies constantly.
Here are a few movies I can honestly say I have probably seen in their entiretly atleast 50 times.
JAWS
Dracula
Empire Strikes Back
Friday The 13th PT 7 (when it came out on VHS I think I watched him fight the girl everyday of summer vacation)
Predator
Caddyshack
Platoon
Spies Like Us
...I don't think I hit the 50 mark on Frankenstein and King Kong yet, but I gotta be close to 35 or so.
I voted 25+ -- as there are a whole bunch of movies I've seen so many times I've lost count. Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, Dawn of the Dead (original), King Kong ('33), Adventures of Robin Hood, Phantom of the Paradise, Wizard of Oz, O Brother Where Art Thou, Raising Arizona, Local Hero -- I'm sure there are more....
I also voted 25+ some of the ones are THE GOONIES,LAST DRAGON,ENTER THE DRAGON,WOLFMAN,SILVER BULLET,TOMBSTONE,THE LOST BOYS,DESPERADO,GRAPES OF WRATH,ARSENIC AND OLD LACE,A&C MEET FRANKENSTEIN,MAGNIFICENT SEVEN,CLUE...
The original Frankenstein (my favorite movie) has been watched at least 90-100 times. I think Karen wants it to become lost somehow. ;D She's also become sick of watching the original Planet of the Apes, watched around 50-60 times. Out of almost 200+ dvd's, those two somehow mysteriously jump into the machine evey 2 to 3 months. ::)
I can't give a number, but there's about 10 titles I've been viewing approx. every other month for years:
Scrooge (1970)
London After Midnight reconstruction/Lon Chaney: A Thousand Faces (Lon Chaney Collection, disc 2)
Dark Shadows Special Edition
A&C Meet Frankenstein
Destroy All Monsters
King Kong Escapes
Mad Monster Party
Batman (1966)
Pinocchio (Disney)
FJA's Hooray For Horrorwood!
You know I use to keep track in my monster diary (a school spiral notebook I kept about all things monsters from the time I was eight until I was maybe 15) but after all these years I've lost count of how many times I've seen certain films. The ones I really love I know I must have seen more than 25 times. Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein was at 75 times when I was 15 (mostly due to my owning one of the first VHS copies of the film), with Frankenstein Meets The Wolf Man and House of Frankenstein just behind it. Lord only knows how many times I've watched them in the last 25 years with TV showings and DVD copies.
I always seem to gravitate to the Universal classics more than any other films, which explains a lot.
Oh I totally forgot some Christmas ones...
Christmas Story, A Christmas Carol (Sim), It's A Wonderful Life and Christmas Vaca are all easily over the 50-60 mark.
Holy sh*t!!!! Well I've only known about House on Haunted Hill for a year, so that's my defence
Hell, I have a few movies I may watch 25 times in the next 3 months!
Some of the films I've seen 25 or so times are
Ghost of Frankenstein (my fave Frank movie)
I Was a Teenage Werewolf
It Conquered the World
The Day The Earth Stood Still
Them
Forbidden Planet
Invasion of the Body Snatchers
Beast From 20,000 Fathoms
20 Million Miles to Earth
The Bat
NOTLD
Public Enemy
San Quentin
Each Dawn I Die
The Violent Years
Scrooge(1970)
The only sorta modern movie would be Dolls (1987). Love the concept of killer toys.
When I make a new purchase and really dig the movie I'll watch it maybe 3 or 4 times during the week. Then it usually gets shelved for at least a few months.
I couldn't even begin think how many times I have seen Creature from the Black Lagoon. I'm sure I have 25+ movies I have seen 25 or more times.
BK
ive seen Blade Runner at least 30 times. ditto for Clockwork Orange, Brides of dracula, curse of the werewolf and many of the Hammer flicks
A little off topic but I figured I'd share....
When I was about 10 or 11 the video store up the street from me finally got Empire Strikes Back. The 1st night I rented it I watched it till the end credits....hit rewind and watched it again...till the end credits. Next day...you get the idea.
When I recently got the Kong discs in the tin, I watched it from begining to end...next day started it right where they get to Skull Island and finished it from there.
If I dig a movie...I get ridiculous about it.
Before home video I would say it was The Wizard of Oz, because it was on every year. Number two was probably WOTW. After home video . . I have no idea?
It's a bit off-topic - but I've seen "Blazing Saddles" 38 times IN THE THEATER. Hey - I was at college and it turned into a contest. The cinema manager even gave some of us free movie tickets for Christmas because we got to know him so well.
GS
I'll say multiple movies reached 25+ for me.... with JAWS leading the parade------and THAT number may be incalculable, frankly.

My friend and I saw Blazing Saddles four days in a row when it first came out. Went back on day 5, but the theatre manager noticed that the ticket seller was letting 14-year-olds into an R-rated movie.
