How many movies do you own?

I own probably 180 Laser disk, and roughly 500 DVD, and pehaps 20 VHS

I'm not sure...I'd say about 200 give or take.

I got rid of alot of crap lately, stuff that I just wont watch again. Either crappy movies or stuff like UFC Knock Outs Vol 18..etc etc...so maybe a bit less.

I got rid of all my VHS except for a bootleg Cannibal Corpse concert, Mad Monster Party and the original Star Wars box set.

200 or so sounds about right.

I own 387 movies including box sets (i didn't count the movies in the box set  >:D), TV shows, VHS, EVERTHING. Every DVD, and VHS i own. I think this is alot for a 16 year old. But yet i have been collecting movies since i was little,  ;D. Most of my movies are box sets and used stuff that i find from yard sales, flea markets, and pawn shops. I think i need to sell some of my movies that i don't watch!  :'( :'( :'(

I'm the same way slayer...I have so much movies, I havent watched all of them, from Vhs to Dvd...
I would say roughly around 300..

 Somewhere around 250 to 300.

Are we talking strictly horror /monster or just in general? I voted 250-500. I have a fair amount of old crime/gangster films. And if you want to add in TV on DVD I would guess probably another 1000 or so episodes.

Slightly over 50. I'm not a completist, I only buy what I can't live without.

I have about 1000 between DVD and VHS

Including all movies: about 150-200

I wasnt counting just Horror, cause most of mine are Kungfu Movies with a few westerns..

LOL..gave a bit of a razzing to my wife, about why we don't own certain movies--she buys most of them. Neither of us ever saw "Barbershop", and we not only own it, we also have "Barbershop 2". When I asked her about this, she says "It's my OCD, I needed to make it a complete set". I went on to burst her bubble, with "Beauty Shop"

About 1300 movies on VHS (some I want to transfer to DVD like The Addams Family Halloween Special but I don't have time to do right now)
100 RCA ced Video disc. Yes, my machine still works. I just transferred some Zorro cartoons to DVD   and over 500 DVDs

We have a lot of movies. Over 160 Laser Disks, and definitely over 500+ DVD

I can't count that high.  ;D

For me, way over six hundred or more. Consisting of Horror, Sci-Fi, Exploitation, Comedy,
Action.  Universal, AIP, HAMMER, Something Weird Video, WB, Box Office International, MGM, etc. 
All formats....  Super 8, Beta, Laser Disc, VHS, and now Blu-Ray.

I recently counted my dvds and the count is around 520. It's less than what i thought i had. But still, that is still alot.

Well over 1000. Ill have to try to count them sometime. Need more though!

I have the same problem!  :(

I also have well over 1000 and have watched most of them...but I also have the problem of not deciding what to watch some nights! ::)

I think me and the better half have just under 100 movies.

Movie collection growing every day. Whoop!

i have the biggest collection I have ever seen, like compared to other ppl i know/ friends. etc. .
I even sold some of them last time I moved , just because the sheer volume was massive and I just dont have the room.
with that being said, I still have over 500, easily.

I have about 150+ movies, about 125 of which are horror/sci-fi/fantasy movies or tv shows.  I really cut down on my movies over the years simply due to my disappointment in the quality of story in recent movies and the UGH...remakes.  I rather buy movies from the mid 90's on down.  Expensive special effects don't make up for $hi++y stories!
