Title: Ryan Converse
Post by: Halloween Jeff on July 03, 2010, 07:02:37 PM
My apologies if this is posted in the wrong section....Ryan Converse, 21, died last night after being involved in a pedestrian/truck accident.  Ryan was a good friend to my son Ian, and Ryan was always over at our house.  He had helped us move into our present home, and now is gone, a scant three months later.

He was taken to the hospital, and never awakened....he had a broken neck, severe spinal cord injuries, and was in a coma, from which he never awakened.  His parents graciously donated Ryan's heart and kidneys, and he was removed from life support yesterday.

He is survived by his parents, a brother, and friends.....

See you on the other side....

It's so hard to see such a young person lose their life.  I've watched so many of my kids' friends grow up and I became attached to them like they were my own. I know how you must feel to hear that he is gone. I hope your family will heal from this loss and treasure your memories of him.

Wow. Really sorry to hear about that Jeff. Must really be rough on your son. Back when I was his age I also lost a long time childhood friend in a car accident so I know how it feels.
Condolences and positive thoughts all around.

Mike
