And for lesser flicks, too, like VAMPIRE BAT and MYSTERY OF THE BLUE ROOM, and for laughs like PARDON MY SARONG and TO BE OR NOT TO BE! But yes, when all's said and done, we'll never forget the darts in the arm--and the dark fun it was to see that!
You forgot "Captain Blood" which also co-starred Basil Rathbone; I briefly caught part of "Captain Blood" the other morning just in time to see poor Lionel getting booted in the bum before being thrown overboard by Peter Blood's men. And Ratters has one of the most dramatic deaths on film--killed in a swordfight with Flynn(Ratters always lost even though he was the better swordsman) and then his limp body being washed over by the incoming tide.
But getting back to the birthday boy, Atwill had quite a range as an actor and could play it all--be vile in one movie and then some silly-assed twit in the next but I like him best when he seems to be the kindly soul but is really a black-hearted villian.
Here's sand in yer gears Lionel!
"Meek"
SO my pal grew up in Lionel's House on the Pacific Ocean. It's his second last house , I think.
Anyway, his mom still lives there and he stored these Wax figures (on top of the case) there.

So , I suppose you can say that they were guest of Pinky for a time.
btw, he was a renound degenerate.
One of my favorite movie scenes is him relating how he lost his arm. Am I remembering these lines correctly?
"Only the most vivid recollection of my life."
"One does not easily forget an arm torn out by the roots."
Those ARE deathless lines!
