Wolf: not a classic by any means, but an underrated entry in the werewolf sub-genre.

I have to concur w/something our friend Scatter said in a bygone thread, that being most efforts after 1985 fall short ( to put it nicely), but WOLF is a superior, tasteful product.

Here's a bit of trivia for you; on The People Under The Stairs the bondage suit worn by 'daddy' is the exact costume worn by the Gimp in Pulp Fiction, both of which feature Ving Rhames (who doesn't have much luck in either films!)

From the 90's?

These three:

1991: The Silence of the Lambs
1999: The Mummy (yup, thought it was a fun ride)
1999: The Sixth Sense

Yep, has to be The Silence Of The Lambs for me.

This in not correct. At the risk of sounding like I know a lot about bondage gear, they're two different costume designs.

IMO Needful Things should NOT be on this list. The book was great. The movie should have been a 2 nite mini-series ala Salem's Lot to do it justice. If you had not read the book it was ok,if you did you would have been WTF!

Hmmm I definately read that somewhere! Thought it sounded a bit far-fetched at the time.

I enjoy The Frightners and can watch it repeatedly . . . the only parts I hate are the crappy CGI Reaper/Johnny Bartlett appearances.

I like the line the black ghost says in The Frighteners, that he's going to get some ghost brothers to form 'an African American apparition coalition!', also loved the cameo by 'drill sargeant' Lee Ermy - (if it was him its been a while since I saw the film!)

Braindead (Dead Alive)
Ed Wood
Audition
From Dusk Till Dawn (a guilty pleasure, but I love it)

True, it's not a horror movie, but it is a genre movie.
