Just finished up my Billiken Frankie, after trying to get one for years. I consider it one of the finest sculpts out of all the 1/6 th scale kits. Decided to go with the pale flesh color dead look instead of the classic green. Tell me what you think.

Great work! It's perfect.
You did a fantastic job on it! Looks like it steped right out of the page of a magazine.
Aside from IMO it needs some graveyard dirt dry brush on the boots and lower pant legs it is VERY cool. Nice job.
The BEST [IMO] version of the Karloff monster to ever be produced and you TOTALLY did it justice! BREATHTAKING!!
Looks really good. Billiken did a great line of kits.
I completely agree, this is probably the very best Frankenstein figure ever produced and you have honored it with an incredible paint-job. Great work!!!
Thanks for all the compliments. I'm in the process of building a base for Frank to stand on. In the meantime I thought I would post one more closeup pic of his face, just to show what a great sculpt this really was. It's Alive! It's Alive!!

how big is the billiken franky?
ryan
It's about 13 and a quarter inches. Sorry, didn't mean to eavesdrop.
no no mord, its an old post i dug out so i didnt have to start YET ANOTHER post for one of my millions of questions haha, thank you mord for the answer, and thank you pongo for showing me a great model once again!
That is just beautiful pongo. Billiken made the best kits, hands down IMO! I wish i had gotten more of them back in that late 80s/early 90s when they were cheap!
whats IMO ?
In My Opinion

Whats a KNOB? No, seriously, I see you have a love for the Frankenstein Monster just like I do. I got about 8 build up kits of different ones. A good one to get would be the Randy Bowen cold cast kit from Dark Horse. You can still find them for sale in various online stores. Here's mine.

I don't remember the exact price I paid for it, because I bought it when they first came out. I believe that was in the early 1990's. I think he's about 13 inches.

There was a little texture to the clothes to begin with, and then with a little dry brushing it brought it out even more. It's a great sculpt. The chains are real too.
