In addition to I-Spy, he was most recently known for costarring in The Greatests American Hero with William Katt. Genre-wise, I remember him from the TV movie SPECTRE by Gene Roddenberry and from the episode "Demon with a Glass Hand" from The Outer Limits.
I was lucky enough to meet him briefly at Chiller a couple of years ago.

Damn, another one down. And a crappy way to go too.
R.I.P Robert
Used to watch I-SPY at my grandmother's--loved that show, an enjoyable part of my childhood. I saw Mr. Culp at that same Chiller and he looked great. I'm surely sorry to hear this sad news.
I loved him in the Greatest American Hero and in Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice....... R.I.P. :(
I am bummin about this one. Very sad indeed. I remember him from the original Outer Limits series and Greatest American Hero and Debras father on Everybody Loves Raymond. He was also in a movie my son has, Santas Slay starring Goldberg (the wrestler) He played the elf that tricked Santa into being good for 1000 years. Stupid but fun. We are wrestling fans over here. Anyway I was lucky enough to get his autograph on an Outer Limits card. I have it in a lucite protecter and will treasure it always. R.I.P.
Sad news, he was a fine actor.

. . and from the episode "Demon with a Glass Hand" from The Outer Limits.
And from that other great episode "Architects of Fear" (and a lot of memorable episodes of "Columbo"). Very sad! Always seemed like a great guy!
There goes another childhood icon. RIP
:'( :'(Sleep in Peace, Mr. Culp....you will be missed.. :'( :'(

Loved I SPY but my favorite show of all time was/is The Outer Limits and Robert Culp was to Outer Limits what Burgess Meredith was to Twilight Zone. Robert Culp appeared in three episodes; Architects Of Fear, Demon With A Glass Hand and Corpus Earthling, which didn't fair as well as the first two mentioned but was creepy as hell and scared the crap out of me when I was eight years old, watching it for the first time. (Actually, it still creeps me out a bit) My two favorite Culp movies are A Cold Night's Death (for TV) and Hickey And Boggs. I will miss that man more than I can say. I'm so glad to own so much of the quality work he did and I shall be watching his three OL episodes before I call it a night.
RIP, Robert Culp.
I, too recall seeing him at Chiller not long ago. A very nice guy and super talented actor/writer. It was evident he really enjoyed the contact with his fans at the show. My favorite work of his was also the Outer Limits. Stand out episodes, every one. Very sad, indeed....RIP Robert.
The epitome of cool. Sad news indeed.
I just saw Robert Culp in a episode of Everybody Loves Raymond. Good guy R.I.P.
This is really sad news! I also remember watching him on cable channel 50 in 1972, Hillsdale Mi., on I- Spy. Man, those were the best kind of shows, along with The Untouchables and Man from Uncle. Robert Culp was part of that whole tv line-up I'll never forget. I barely watch tv now, nothing seems as good as those shows were! He will be missed by me, for sure.
Mr. Outer Limits R.I.P.
As a spy fan growing up with I-Spy, this is really sad. Another part of childhood passing on, somehow when your young these icons seem immortal. Rest in peace Mr. Culp.
R.I.P. Robert...its starting.
A friend of mine was a good friend of his and was talking to him the night before he died.
He said he was very happy ,he was working and planning new projects, healthy and fit, He was going on his daily speed walk when he fell and hit his head.
It's a shame but at least he was at the top of his game and happy when he died.
RIP Mr Culp
Best..

Very sad. I have good memories of his work.
Just watched THE GREAT SCOUT AND CATHOUSE THURSDAY a couple of weeks ago. He was great in that!
Sure have been a lot of celebrity deaths this month.
