Pro-football hall of famer and actor Merlin Olsen has passed away. Probably best remembered for his continuing charcter on LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE, Olsen had a healthy tv career both before and after that series. Roles include parts in tv thriller flick TIME BOMB, the KUNG FU series, and sci-fi movie A FIRE IN THE SKY in '78.

I remember seeing him play as a kid. Great player for sure. Really enjoyed his TV roles which also included Father Murphy.

Met him at an Eagles game and got his autograph,Heck of a real nice guy.Stayed and signed till the very last person.And this was after a game and he hadn't even got in to the lockerroom yet!
