I know alot of people don't like Rob Zombie's Films, but i was just wondering?
House was ok, Devils Rejects better. I hated his versions of Halloween. El superbeasto was a lame attempt at doing a Ralph Bakshi flick. Didnt work.
I went with his first attempt House of 1,000 Corpses followed closely by Devil's Rejects while neither were truly original they were nice homages to past films and at least contained characters he created/developed.
House had a classic Halloween (the holiday not the movie) feel in the beginning montage and really set the mood. Loved all the crazy antics of the Firefly family, though Baby got annoying. Captain Spaulding was hilarious love Sid Haig, Otis' rambling speeches were excellently delivered with psychotic-franticism by Bill Moseley. The ending was a little disjointed in a world that at that point in the film was shown as a real setting but I still enjoyed it.
I think Rob needs to get back to creating his own films based on his knowledge of horror in cinema and leave the remakes alone.

i think you are completely right, though el superbeasto was pretty funny and weird.
I liked the first Halloween he did, though in no way does it touch Carpenter's. I thought his backstory on Myers was an original attempt to update a classic. The third part of the movie seemed rushed.
The rest of his movies were not my style. Although the ending to Devil's Rejects with Free Bird playing was pretty cool.
I liked all his movies but the Halloween 2 I thought wasn't that good. The first Halloween I like but like BaronLatos35 said, "It doesn't touch Carpenter's!" House and Rejects I really like and El Superbeasto!
I felt like he found his true cinematic voice (such as it is) in "Devil's Rejects" . . . and the soundtrack was close to perfection.
Devil's Rejects was his best. Halloween was good, just not great.
Devil's Rejects, by far. I also eventually came to appreciate his version of Halloween after subsequent viewings (didn't like it much the first time i saw it)....
Honestly, i think Devil's Rejects is nearly a masterpiece, as far as that style of film making goes....
But House of 1000 Corpses, H2, and Super Beasto really failed to grab me....
