Have fun!
Here's one of my videos I made for the UMA a couple of years ago.
The Marx Frankenstein Robot meets the Munsters!

Let's have some new Coffin Joe! Warning, contains violence and nudity.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzW8rO3Iz6k
Raymond, nice trailer alright. Like all Coffin Joe stuff though - hard to watch. Didn't see you in the trailer? That sux!
This is not the official theatrical trailer. It was prepared to secure distribution and completion funds. Somebody leaked it to the public over the summer. Eventually there will be an official theatrical trailer suitable for all audiences.

Thanks for the videos! They were both great!
One of my favorite Ramones tunes, plus monsters!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEONkKSYxEE
Bobby .. I dig the Ramones a lot. Johnny Ramone dug monsters too. It's sad to think that almost all of the Ramones are dead. I saw them once as an opening act for Foreigner back in the late 70s! They were booed relentlessly! A total mismatch.
Boy what I'd give to see a uni-monsters stage show with characters made up like these!

I've got that Jack Pierce stage show dvd but I haven't watched it yet. They did an incredible job on the monster scenes and makeups!
I had never seen that Ramones video before, thanks for posting it.
Here's an old commercial for a favorite toy of mine... (which by the way I just noticed that you had put up there Terry, thanks!!)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43UU0RBLXNs
Ok, so years ago some friends of mine and I made a short film called Goddamn Frankenstein. It didn't really turn out all that good and it's FULL of problems but we had fun doing it. I hadn't watched it in years but I discovered that a friend had posted it on YouTube. Upon re-watching it I still find it pretty painful because I know what we were going for and to see how much it doesn't work kinda sucks. However there are a few things I like about it - Nick Hood does a great job as the monster, Shane Morton did a fantastic make-up job, Elizabeth Marley makes a great Bride and the scene where she screams like Elsa is a good homage I think.
Unfortunately it's just too long (just under 10 minutes) and it moves kinda slow. It was very difficult to edit because my co-director forgot to shoot a few key scenes and the sound is too low in parts. Also I guess to fit it onto YouTube my friend had to edit out the final credits which is one of the parts I'm most proud of. Oh well.
So despite all the flaws here it is in case any of you want to waste about 10 minutes of your life!

Funny while watching this trailer for a great old movie we all love I keep getting the urge to " SEE IT !"

I wonder Why ? :)

TS
In the Garloo commercial, I like how the girl shares a romantic moment with the toy, running her nose down his face. I thought Garloo was going to light a cigarette afterward. He can afford lots of cigarettes and a harem of girls with that $17.98 price tag. That price pinches a little today, let alone 40+ years ago. Let's see, should we pay our utilities this month or buy a Garloo...

You'll have the time of your YOUNG life!
It's new! It's different! It's TOUGH!
Groovy and neat-o.
I love vids of the old Marx stuff in action. I just wish someone would upload a vid of the Haunted House. I could always buy a download for $1.99 from that guy on ebay... :P
I'll make one of mine in action and post it.
Best..

In the TOYS section, I've posted 10 You Tube videos. They are segments from my 1995 documentary, "In Love With Toys."
The opening scene is very appropriate to post on a Christmas morning:

That "What are you doing?" at the end is priceless. Thanks for posting this. I've always wanted to see what that house did.
Glad you liked it. Now watch the other eight segments in the TOYs board.

Ha, ha that's great. Tom, what ARE you doing?

He's not the only one. I love the line at the end .. "never underestimate the power of woman". Ain't that the truth! What movie is that from Tom?
What could possibly be better than Halloween at Woolworth's circa 1976?

I have no idea Terry :( I just found it on You Tube and found it fun . That Monster does look familiar though ..Hillbilly's in a Haunted House maybe ? Anyone know ?
Tom
No. Not Hillbillies In A Haunted House. That I'm sure of. I'm thinking it's one of those Something Weird soft core monster videos from the late 60s / early 70s? Can't think of the title right now. :-\
My home haunt from 2002, I didn't even know this footage existed until a few mins ago.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Avi4c5AaECU
Wow Tom ,what a great striptease Frankenfilm! I know it's just a rubber mask, but the monster looks pretty good for a cheapie production. Oh, and she's got a nice ass.
Yea that is why before plastic surgery and implants changed everything. She is a shapely woman :)
Doesn't it make you feel a little dirty and embarrassed while watching it ? Like you used to feel when you used to peek at your Dad's Playboys when you were a kid ? :) Those were the good old days ::)
Tom
I'm pretty sure this is the film used in Rob Zombie's Dragula video. The clips in the video are color, so they were either colorized or there is a color print out there. I think I saw this film on Reel Wild Cinema.

It makes me feel very randy. It makes feel like a ravenous wolf in need of flesh. It makes me feel myself. Wait a minute! I didn't say that! :o
Well, I rose form the "DEAD!"
Yeah that just looks like something that Something Weird has released.
If you guys like that sort of thing you need to get the dvd of the movie KISS ME QUICK. You won't be disappointed.
Here's a link to it on Amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/Kiss-Quick-House-Bare-Mountain/dp/B00005IAQF/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1200508282&sr=8-1
THat's the movie I was thinking it was from ..Kiss Me Quick
Is it ?
Tom
I've seen Kiss Me Quick, and that is not what that clip is from. Kiss Me Quick was in color and the monster never looked that good. Then again, neither did the ladies. Kiss Me Quick is awful by the way. Really corny and stupid .. not in a good way either.
Here's a video that I had many reservations about sharing. Only because it contains graphic language and sexual implications which are not suitable for minors as well as those who are easily offended. I'm a big fan of NIN and I personally found this fan made video to be very well done and highly entertaining!
It is a re-imagining of Mark Romanek's classic Nine Inch Nails video for "Closer" by two fans who identify themselves as T. Jonsey and Killa. Instead of Romanek's creepy visuals, we get footage from "Star Trek," scratched and colored to roughly match the style of the original video.
The song (which includes explicit lyrics) makes Spock look terrifying.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PwpcUawjK0
Wow. That video must have really spooked everyone. Not even one comment? I know the language was graphic.
I really enjoy KISS ME QUICK. I mean it's pretty bad and it's not like I watch it all the time but... I don't know, I think it's fun.
I've heard Max 'The Drunken Severed Head' is pretty good in bed. This video is proof of that. Cover your eyes, it's not pretty. :o
This footage was shot at Monster Bash 2006 in the UMA Toy Tour private quarters. You will also see Coffin Ray at the very tail end of this repulsing short video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=li2UP28jc0U
I just watched it. I liked it. Good editing and selection of footage. You could actually believe that all that subtext was there in the original show. Interesting how the upbeat, campy Star Trek can seem so dark and nightmarish simply by muting the color and marrying the footage to a brooding song.

I'm currently in discussions with the individual who created the mod (or plug in) that we use here to show YouTube videos to update it by supporting Internet Archive videos. The Internet Archive is a fabulous place with an incredible amount of content. I would love to show videos here from the Archive in the same way we are able to share YouTube vids. They're working on it, or so I'm told.
Hi, all
New to the boards, and saw this thread, so thought I'd share a "video article" I created. An Actor's Master Class...James Whitmore shows you how to steal a scene...from Them!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqkGli5qHB8 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqkGli5qHB8)
That was great ! I never noticed his actions before but your right he does steal those scenes and every scene he is in THEM !
Thanks..

Next to Bride this is one of my favorite movies of all time !
And these scenes are the best part of it :)
How old was Glen Strange when he made it ?

I think he was 50 or 51... well wait... he was born in August of 1899, and the film shot in February-March of 1948. So, 50 during the shoot. One of my favorite films!

One of my favorite films of all time. Hands down. Gods and Monsters starring Sir Ian McKellen as James Whale (director of Frankenstein 1931). AAAA++++

In loving memory. Somehow the NIN soundtrack to this tribute seems to work with the mood of the moment.

Here is a special piece of film history. It's home movie footage of Bela Lugosi and family. It's rather lengthy for a home video, but it's worth every second to see Bela and Lillian, along with a very young Bela Jr., all sitting around the dinner table with friends and family. One big Hungarian feast! Those were the days.
