Title: The Horror/Sci-Fi Films Of Lon Chaney, Jr.
Post by: Memphremagog on July 27, 2009, 06:49:57 PM
'Ol Lon had quite a career as a character actor in his day, playing gangsters, cowboys, villains, monsters and many other roles during his varied career. This poll will be concerned only with his horror/sci-fi stuff..he certainly showed ability in other things such as OF MICE AND MEN and HIGH NOON.

I would have voted for OF MICE AND MEN, had it been on the list. Voted for SPIDER BABY, instead.

... LON was GREAT, in SPIDER BABY!, as well as: THE WOLF MAN, both, HOUSE movies, A&C, SON OF DRACULA, Etc.
... My Fav, is his "re-awakened" LAWRENCE TALBOT, in FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE WOLF MAN.
EXANIMO EVERNOW,
TIMMY & THE BARON & BARONESS & FRIENDS, GOO-O-OODD-D!, B.G.G.

Chaney was indeed fantastic in Spider-Baby, but I went with the Wolfman.

Gotta go w/A&C Meet Frankenstein again, but I enjoy every movie on the list that I've seen.
