Between the 1930's & 1940's, this studio produced some of the best films that werent part of the classic Universal horrors..and yes, I realize that the Val Lewton films are listed elsewhere, but they are aprt of of RKO's legacy as is The Thing, which is why I included that here even though it is later..
Went with King Kong. Got to love a big ape with a chick fetish.
I know most will say King Kong, and I would have went with it to, but not when it goes up against "The Thing from another world".
King Kong. But yeah; The Thing From Another World is a close second. I also dig The Hunchback.
King Kong here too, The Thing From Another World a close 2nd as well. Both milestone movies in there own unique way. Laughton's Hunchback is great too, saw it this week on TCM.
It's between King Kong or The Thing From Another World. But I went with King Kong.
Already went with The Seventh Victim (1943) on another poll,
so I'll go with The Thing From Another World (1951) on
this one~
King Kong
I would have to say..............I walked with a Zombie, The Thing from Another World is good too.
The Devil And Daniel Webster is another great one!
I like The Body Snatchers. I think it's different from the one listed above as The Body Snatcher.
THE SPIRAL STAIRCASE. Who can go wrong with a great story, my beloved Ethel Barrymore....Kent Smith and Dorothy McGuire. To top it off, there is also Elsa Lanchester! This a really great thriller that scared the stew out of me when I first saw it, and, miracle of miracles.... George Brent was actually GOOD!
