Dear Folks-
I haven't had the pleasure of meeting fellow UMAers enmasse yet; but I have had the honor in small doses: Mrs. FMOFMPLS, Prof. Griffin, Rob A., Prof. Kinema, etc.
And just recently - Crazy Ivan!

That's C.I. (wearing USA uniform), C.W. (wearing UMA uniform), with the Flat- iron Building in the distance.
Nice!! I haven't EVER met ANYBODY from the UMA. I think it's a conspiracy.
Great pic! Thank you for sharing...really cool to see people on here actually getting to meet like that!

What a disappointment! He doesn't look the least bit crazy.
Wasn't Ivan in On The Town with Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra ?
Always great to have a face to go with the name. Thanks for posting this.
Thanks for the pic. Living in Florida, I have never met a UMA soldier. Each time my friend and I hit a local con, I post that we are going and ask if anyone else is. I never get a response. So I think it's great that we get to see some faces. Thanks so much for posting the the photo of C.W. and C. I.
Oh, and remember; Norman Bates didn't look the least bit crazy either.
Crazy Ivan is a subbie term for when an enemy sub does a quick turn to check her baffles. Good name for a subbie!
You're welcome, guys.
Mike, he's no more crazy than the rest of us...
Hammer, as Johnny Carson used to say, "I did not know that...!"
Great weekend,
-Craig

Then I retract my previous statement. He

"That guys nuts! Grab 'em!"

"That guys nuts! Grab 'em!"
...but don't squeeze 'em.
Rob
That's a lot of NUTS !
The UMA should come to Dragon Con some time. It's here in Atlanta every labor day weekend. Would love to meet some of you! :)

I'm not sure (danged cheap trifocals!) but I think Crazy Ivan is a skimmer. PO1 ET: Petty Officer First Class, Electronics Technician & it looks like a Surface Warfare badge.
All in all, a friend we all should be proud of.
