I gotta say, I did'nt have high hopes for this movie. I like Christian Bale, I just thought the 1st Terminator was the best and one of my fave movies ever and T2 came close in the overall entertainment dept. T3? It was watchable but nothing to write home about.
10 minutes into the movie I was thinking "they gotta pick up the pace here" 10 minutes after that...I was fully into the movie and loving every second of it!! I thought the various Terminator models..T600, T-Rip etc were awesome. The Harvester was downright scary! Motorcycles, Marcus...it was just all good. Of course though..my jaw hit the floor with the Arnold sequence.(how much better is CGI gonna get??!!)..the music was PERFECT! His entrance was great, the scene was killer and I was frozen with ...awesomeness lol.
I thought Salvation delivered and I hope this Sci-Fi/Action franchise will continue to develop!

Who would you rather have as Batman, keaton?, Kilmer?, Clooney?, they all sucked as the Dark Knight.
Well back in the day I would have liked Kurt Russell. Now? maybe Gerard Butler
Bale and Keaton were good Dark Knights IMO. Kilmer and Clooney just didn't work (maybe Robin helped in that decision lol.).
I don't see Butler doing it (although he whupped a** in 300) Russell was/is always cool, but not Batman cool, definitely Snake Plissken cool!

If you didnt like the 1st Terminator, or Arnold being a Terminator, then theres a good 5 min of this movie you will hate and shouldnt see it.
I personally loved it.
I just dont like much of Arnie's movies, except Conan and the Villain.
The new Terminator movie was better than I expected. Of course it could easily have been a Battlestar galactica movie--afterall isn't that how Battlestar sort of started?
Anyway,I was amazed at how white the teeth were of the suviving humans who couldn't bathe or eat properly. And i didn't know that people from Texas talk with English accents.
The trailers for the mobvie soiled the fact that the guy was a terminator because the movie built to that revelation but everyone already knew it.
Now, who keeps the terminator factories so clean? Does Rosie the robot from the Jetson come by with a push broom? And why do termiantor labs have chairs in them? Just to use to throw through windows?
I fully expected to see terminators riding up and down on all of those elevators in the plant. "So T-600 what are you doing today?" "Well, I'm going to Sector 7 to look for John Connor. What about you?" Gotta go home early. The wife needs me to pick up a few quarts of 30 weight at the market."
