Title: I know its not Monster related but any Gerry Anderson fans out there?
Post by: hammerfan on April 30, 2009, 10:27:15 AM
I was always( and still am) a big fan of the Gerry Anderson TV shows. Especially Thunderbirds, Supercar, Capt. Scarlet and later UFO and Space 1999. The shows were always inventive and some of the miniature work is still impressive. Any fans out there on UMA?

My boyfriend is a bigger fan than I because he has seen most of their work , but I do like FIREBALL X-L 5.

Fireball XL-5 is a cool show. with a cool theme song which was a big hit in the UK way back when. You should check out Thunderbirds or Supercar. i think you'd like them too.

Ah Fireball XXL-5--the Anderson's did awesome stuff.

Captain Scarlet and UFO are my faves and I got em on DVD!!

If you're a Boomer Monster Kid you're a Gerry Anderson fan too.  They went hand in hand!

Space:1999 was my big Anderson show when I was a kid. I always watched it with Star Trek. Big fan of both. Discovered UFO recently, never really saws the others though but was aware of them. I did record both Thunderbird movies which were on TCM last night.
