Legendary British-born director Ken Annakin, who manned the camera for classic films like 'Battle of the Bulge,' 'Swiss Family Robinson' and 'The Longest Day' has died at the age of 94. Annakin's health had been in decline since February, when he had a heart attack and a stroke one day after each other. He passed away at his home in Beverly Hills.
His camera work was outstanding. We will have these classic films to remember KEN ANNAKIN.
I had just picked up the video box for "Swiss Family Robinson," and was reading it, not a few minutes ago.
A great director.
