I hear that JAWS is my all time favirote movie. Hope it reaches the NY/NJ area.
I sure hope they are going to mention my Uncle Murray in this film.
Afterall, it was my uncle that sent everyone back in the water after he was warned.......

I have seen THE SHARK IS STILL WORKING, and I tell you all, it is marvelous! I enjoyed every minute of it. When it was over, I wanted to watch JAWS again! Great footage, photos and anecdotes from both major and minor actors, and everyone involved in the original film. It brought me back to the summer of '75 all over again.
And boy, do I regret not having known about JAWSFEST, the event held on Martha's Vineyard ("Amity Island") a few years ago. I would have moved heaven and earth to be there. At least a good deal of it was documented for this film.
A must-see in my boat!
Just watched Amityville Horror the other night and forgot your uncle had a role in that film as well. He really put Rod Steiger in his place. That film still creeps me out. The night it came out in the theatre I went to see it. Each night when something started to happen in the middle of the night, the clock showed 3:15am.
True story - I went to bed that night and woke up after only a couple hours and couldn't fall back to sleep. I was afraid to look at the clock on my night stand for fear of what time it would be. I lay there and tossed and turned some more. Seemed like another couple hours passed and thought "this is silly". I put on my specs and leaned over the side of my bed, looked at my clock and it was...3:15am. Needless to say got up and watched TV with the lights on until it was time to have breakfast. (Didn't even fall through my stairs into a pool of black goo.
