The store is hosting an Easter-themed event this weekend. Hmmm ...
Easter and Halloween? I may have to attend just to see if a blending
of these two occasions is even feasible.
They've got a bunch of those Creature Halloween bucketsthat sell for (sorta) big bucks on eBay!

Yeah, really. They're always listed for over a hundred bucks, sometimes way over. I wonder what this place sells them for. Just curious, I bought mine and the Frank back when they were new (and cheap).
I like the classic 80s "dry" post style finish on the Teenage Monster. Too many modern masks look shiny.

I went back to the store yesterday for their seasonal event. All they did
was clear their floor to make room for some outside vendors offering
stuff that you'd normally see at convention dealers rooms. The closest
thing I saw to an Easter Bunny was Art the Clown and a Scream fiend, both
wearing bunny ears, chopping up a baby >

That is my dream business. I would like to have an old school magic and higher end mask shop someday. It may not be possible since the advent of the internet. However, I do think many people are longing for the old style small store fronts ... we loved as youngsters. I do see a trend towards actual book stores again around us here in the Chicagoland area.
