What a shame. He was a great artist and the best to ever draw Vampi, IMHO.

I agree. He had a wonderful style, and really captured the feel of the character. Here is his iconic (for me) Vampi:

 I spent a lot of my youth admiring his artwork through the Vampirella stories, and many hours admiring his 6' poster growing up.  For me he was THE Vampirella artist for those stories.  A tragic loss for the world, and monster kids who grew up with the Warren magazines.  He was an amazing and talented artist.   :'(

Somehow i missed this thread last month, just found out today.

Very sad. I've admired his artwork for DECADES.... :'(

His poster set the standard for Vampirella for decades.
