Miramax CEO Jonathan Glickman has optioned the rights to turn Bobby "Boris" Pickett's 1962 hit "Monster Mash" into an animated musical film.

No further details were announced.

No idea which way they'll go with this. Plot based on the song? BBP bio (how I wrote "Monster Mash")? Sompin else?
