Kong Armature - Stannarts, 2026
Work is progressing on this great-looking kit:

Looks like a challenging paint job to get just right.
Looks really cool! Probably be 500 bucks. Plastic, I guess, since he said "printed". Not posable, either. Just a statue.
Yep if you scroll back through some posts he made the decision it wasn't going to be poseable. That's a shame, if he's just making a statue I would have rather something with a legit 33 finished figure.

Well, there are a lot of those, and an armature
is pretty cool. Didn't somebody make a metal posable armature, a while back? Super high-end collectible.
Yes! Sideshow made an articulated one many years ago:

Right! So cool, but so expensive.
There aren't too many that actually capture the 1933 Kong though. At least I haven't seen one I like enough to spring for.
It just went up for pre-order. Price: $225.00.

If I was a KK collector . . .!

I was thinking the same thing. A lot better than the $500 estimate that was discussed here.

That was me, just being grouchy about how expensive the cool stuff always seems to be. I was wrong. That's an acceptable price. :)
