Title: Alien: Earth

Anyone else watching Alien: Earth? I really enjoy it. I think it's cool they introduced new creatures/monsters in addition to the classic Xenomorph

Haha, yeah it's pretty good imo. I definitely recommend fans of the Alien films check this series out.

Hulu, m'friend.

I'm torn on this series. While I find it very watchable, I also find many of the characters to be quite annoying (and not just the obvious bad guy). What I thoroughly enjoyed about the original movie was its all-adult cast. I saw it as a teenager and didn't feel I was missing out because I couldn't "relate" to the cast. This show and Alien Romulus are full of young folk who I find utterly boring. The lead woman is good, but the other youth cast I can do without.

But like I said, there's enough other stuff in every episode to capture one's attention, so I'll of course be finishing it. Next week is the last episode. I've not heard if a 2nd is locked in.

I'll probably end up getting this on BD after it runs its course. I'm in no hurry.

If you've seen the first episode, you can jump to episode 5. It's fully a flashback to what happened to the crew from episode 1 with literally no "present day" scenes. Each episode has good stuff in it... as well as things that make me want to scream at my TV -- and not in a good way.

Oh got it. It's an FX series. Right, I see someone mentioned Hulu is carrying it. I think maybe YouTube television as well.

I agree with others in that there aren't many likable characters. In fairness I think that plays into the dystopia future vibe. Still, some cool new monsters and Im interested in finding out more about these creatures. FYI lotta post-human stuff in the show too---cyborgs, snyths, and "hybrids." Not the best show but worth checking out imo
