Title: AI overload on FB
Post by: Lunkenstein on July 25, 2025, 09:51:26 AM
Is anyone else sick of AI pictures and videos flooding groups on Facebook? It's taken the enjoyment out of the groups I really liked. And don't even get me started on AI music. People 'making songs' by the dozens daily by entering prompts? I'll retire to Bedlam.

I've never used FB. I try to keep my involvement in social media to a minimum. YT and here is about it for me. The AI has become annoying on YT as well. I listen to audiobooks occasionally and users who post those on YT have taken to using AI images which are chaotic and off concerning anatomy and other forms. Better to not use imagery at all if they can't beat that. Even the voice acting to read the books is often AI which leads to ridiculous sounding readings frequently. Exposure to AI IS a kind of "Bedlam".

As the technology improves (and it surely will) we won't even
be able to tell what's fake and what's genuine. 'Best advice is
to question everything you see online and warn your children,
for all the good that'll do. Me, I'll go out and live real life
as much as possible.
