'Stunned to read of his demise from cardiac arrest
but not surprised, considering the brutal nature of
their "sport". I never watched his reality show but
followed pro wrestling on TV all through the 1970s
and '80s, even attending a few live events. When
this tag-team match was announced for a weekend
broadcast, I practically lost my mind! 'Sad to think
now that Hulk Hogan was its last surviving performer >

I never watched wrestling but obviously encountered him in other things.
If not for him
Gremlins 2 would never have finished!
I was into wrestling early on. I remember Roddy Piper, Sargent Slaughter, Ric Flair, those brothers from Texas, etc.—the early stars. I never really hated Hogan, never really liked. But as time went on, especially the way he acted when his son killed another person and other stuff he did and said, I came to think of him as a scumbag. Good riddance.
