It's that time of year again. The Mahoning Drive-In's Monster Mash is this weekend.
They have shown the 4 classics before, but not over the same weekend, and never Frankenstein and the Bride back to back. The other two are pretty surprising, but it will be very cool to see Calling Dr. Death, the first Inner Sanctum Mystery. Hopefully, it's something they'll continue. I'd especially love to see Weird Woman on the big screen.

Yikes! 7 hr drive! How much for you?
About 2 1/2 - 3 hours, depending on traffic. I'm in Dover, DE, so if I can leave early enough to avoid Philly rush hour, it isn't bad. And it's only once a year.
If I lived within 3 hours I would sure go. Looks like big fun!
If I lived closer, I'd go more often.
Another fun weekend at the drive-in. Along with the scheduled movies, they ran Edison's Frankenstein (1910). An interesting historical film, but other than the creation scene, it doesn't have much going for it.
This is the first time they've shown Frankenstein and Bride back to back. It's very interesting seeing and hearing the differences in movie production.
And I got to play the Creature from the Black Lagoon pinball machine, too.

This van was in attendance on Friday night. A lot of white smoke billowed out of it during the movies. So, Shaggy must have been there. But the van never rocked, so I guess Fred and Daphne were working on a mystery somewhere else. ;D

I sure
don't play a mean pinball, but I would have liked to have gotten a close-up look!
