Funded. Can't wait to get a copy of what will be an incredible soundtrack.
SO EXCITED!!!!
Delighted to hear this got funded. I'm so psyched for it. Hope they continue with such releases.
The sad part is it almost didn't make it. I heard someone put in $2,000 so it would at least make it for the main film score.
Every time someone talks about the film they mention the perfect blending of horror and comedy AND the films score. So I was pretty surprised it took almost the entire 30 days to meet the goal.
Guess the market is shrinking year after year. 20 years ago they were able to record the scores to many horror films (Ghost Of Frankenstein & House Of Frankenstein TWICE, King Kong at least twice, plus others) without having to ask the fans to fund it. Now looks like the only way to get these things made is via Kickstarter.

We're lucky it's going to be a new recording. Some of the labels that started out doing new recordings had to switch to using the original music tracks (sometimes with the sound effects), or old acetate discs.
20 years ago, I guarantee you there were private backers who garnered a percentage of the profits for the support. Plus, a whole lotta us fans went to the great beyond in 20 years. I'm glad I am getting it before I go.
Yep, we're a dying breed. Growing smaller every day. Get 'em while they last.
I figure MINIMALLY 6-7 months before it is available on CD & digital download. Not sure exactly what they have to do on it - do they have the original printed scores? If not they'll have to write those out, then it has to orchestrated as close to the film version as possible (listening to the film over and over and over again), then record it, then edit it, make the master disc, replicate them, write, design and print the CD booklets, etc, etc, etc. The more they have to do the longer it's gonna take for it to se the light of day.
Man, I wish I'd known about this.

I'm pretty sure they'll have it for sale after they ship out the cds to those if us who did the kickstarter. It's been recorded and mastered and they're working on booklet and pressing the discs. So might be available in Feb or March of 2025.
Looks like this is available to order: https://store.intrada.com/s.nl/it.A/id.13067/.f (https://store.intrada.com/s.nl/it.A/id.13067/.f)

Intrada is getting funding from Kickstarter!?
Intrada has done a few albums that were initiated by Kickstarter campaigns.
I think they do that now when they re-record scores where the original masters no longer exist, like this one.
