Get this: a Svengoolie/Elvira-style show on the internet, but with classic anime instead of monster movies. I'm thinking about doing it.
What do you mean by "classic anime"? Cartoons?
???

Stuff made prior to 1990.
Well then I like the idea!

So far, I have the entirety of ROBOTECH and SPEED RACER.
Working on STAR BLAZERS right now.
The original 1979 GUNDAM is a priority.
The prospect of VOLTRON (both the Lion and Vehicle series) is tantalizing.
It would also be nice to track down the English dub of ASTRO BOY '80.
The idea is to play two episodes per show, stemming from how many two-parters SPEED RACER had. Since these series involve continuous storylines, it would help out.
Plus we'd throw in a few vignettes courtesy of folks like Joseph Lai and International Finance Development Films.

You need more theatrical cartoons from the Golden Age of cartooning (pre-1955 or so) though! Why don't you go to this thread for broader ideas?

Season 1 of STAR BLAZERS has gotten to me. Season 2's on the way.
SEASON 2 of STAR BLAZERS has reached me... and the question of even starting this.
Legality.
Like, how did the Brains do it for MST3K?
