Made by artist Adam Sotelo and factory produced in China with a vinyl head. A real toy, no homemade resin.

It's certainly interesting, and I definitely think that people should be showing off indie toys on this forum. Though I am curious as to what you meant by "real toy"?

The head and hands are made of vinyl, rather than resin. Give a kid a toy made of resin, and it will be broken within 5 min.
Mike, exactly.
A "real toy" is something produced on industrial equipment , out of traditional kid friendly materials, and in a traditional method as other toys. Maybe not meant to be played with but can be.
Ah, gotcha!
Sorry, I misread your tone. Anyways he's a cool doll and I hop we get a mummy at some point.
Awesome toy. While I understood the "real toy" sentiment....if it's made in China it comes with its own potential issues. Remember all those lead based paint hot wheels, lol?
I predict these will do well. Guys like me will buy them up for kids or grand kids, and maybe even get one for themselves to boot.
Anyone know if other monsters are expected down the line? It certainly does look cool...I might order one after the holidays.

I like these guys a bit more in theory than I do practice, in all honesty. I like most of the Monster's sculpt, but the orange-y color of the scars is a definite problem, as is the receding hairline of this wolfman. Still, they keep catching my eye, so there's something there for me, I think.

I noticed that their catalog pictures avoided showing Frankenstein's hands as much as they could. They must have gotten a lot of blowback about the crummy cloth hands when the head and shoes were plastic.

I think I'm glad these aren't officially licensed Universal items because, sadly, I feel like they resemble the actual Universal Monsters more than something that Universal would currently license. To me, this Coffin Creep Werewolf looks more like the Wolfman than the Silver Bullet style Wolfman that Universal is using on all their art (and a lot of their licensed items) at present.
Sigh....$99 and you can't use the 15% discount code on it.
More than I wanted to spend but since I already have the Monster, I "bit the silver bullet". Says you get a free goodie so hey, theres that!

Yea, the cloth body ain't great, but I guess it goes with these being dolls.
Creature in a coffin doesn't fit any motive I know of, film or otherwise. I can go with it though, as it's the brand name, and made so well.
I think the cloth body for a Creature bothers me more than any of the other monsters. At least the other monsters are wearing clothing.
The Creature is naked. He should be the same texture all over.

I think people forget these are supposed to be a continuation of the Drac-Bat doll had it became a full line. They aren't supposed to be stand alone examples of the character they represent. If you don't like Drac-Bat or similar vinyl headed plushies you won't like these. Myself, I loooove vinyl headed dolls. In that context they are damn near perfect. Not cheap, but you are paying for a limited run of a legit factory produced toy. The look, feel, and smell of a factory made toy compared to a hand made custom is worth the little bit extra. It's just so much more satisfying in the long run.

Can you tell if that one is licensed? While Universal is wildly-adverse to direct litigation around its classic properties, WB, 20th, and even Uni around modern properties they've got clear tile on, are not. I know several of the more recent releases are licensed, really wondering if this is (or isn't).

I get that.
The head looks better and I do like the 4 real fingers better that the cloth "hands". Guess I'll get one based on that.
Gotta wonder why they went this way. Werewolf also has 4 fingers, but Gill Man has 5. Can't see what Dracula has - kinda looks like it might be 4.
I passed on the first Frankie because I didn't like the head sculpt. This one is better, the hard hands are a big step up but the four fingers is a little strange.

They have terrible catalog pictures. It makes one think they are hiding the dolls' flaws in the darkness. I'd really like to see a YouTube unboxing video on these.
Given the flaws with fun fur on the first Wolf ill bet thats the reason.
It's a lot of dough to go on those bad pics. I only noticed they had three fingers today. It's one thing to have the moody photo, but to have no others and a sort of "trust us on this..." way of presenting the catalog just begs for a buyer to wonder what they're really buying.
Nosferatu has 4 fingers (not counting thumb). The 3 fingers must be a way to pass them off as parody perhaps??
