Title: Trying to Remember the Name of a Caveman Horror Movie
Post by: YoungestMonsterKid on August 06, 2023, 12:17:23 PM
A few years ago, on some streaming service, I saw a black and white horror film from the 1950s or 1960s. I can't remember the name at all, but I remember the plot pretty well. It involved scientists discovering a perfectly preserved caveman. On top of which, they realized that the caveman dated back to the time of dinosaurs (long before they previously thought humans went back to). The caveman came to life and was sort of a vampire or zombie. Bullets did nothing to stop him, but then in the end a character figures out to stake him in the heart wit ha Stegosaurus bone. This apparently works because he "had to be killed with something from his own time". Although as the movie ends it seems like the caveman is still alive.

Anyways, I remember this movie pretty well, I saw it maybe on Amazon Prime or something. It definitely seemed to be made by a small studio, the print wasn't even that good. I think the title may have not even been very descriptive of what the movie was about, but then again, I can't remember the title at all.

Does anyone know?

This may be "Eegah!" a 1962 low budget horror film, where a primitive man is discovered. The caveman was played by Richard Kiel.

Nope, I know that movie pretty well. He's not undead, and he isn't killed by a dinosaur bone.

Just looking that up, that's from the 70s. And the cavemen are aliens.
