Sad that the fact it isn't made by Universal is the reason I have any faith in it.

I watched it. I wasn't crazy about it. I think UM fans will probably find things to enjoy. For example, i like the Gothic vibe. The IM is a total scoundrel like in the original 1933 film, and I thought that was nice touch. But idk, had kind of a made for tv vibe. It's worth checking out, but I doubt I'll ever revisit the film.
