What do you think of it?   Do you have any pictures of the actual product?

'Great likeness, great finish; only wish they could've included just enough neck to
get the electrodes in there. I'd enjoy seeing pics of a production copy, too.

Its a great mask. ...

Thanks!

Not bad.  Kinda heavy on the eye shadow, but you don't get subtle for 20 bucks.

Amazing what a crappy paint job can do to a beautiful sculpt; definitely needs a subtle paint redo like the catalog photo.

By mass produced standards go I wouldnt say the paint  is "crappy".

Yeah, it's a nice sculpt, and the paint job could be better, but as stated, it's a mass marketed item and if they did the type of paint job we'd prefer, it would have been pretty costly, and thus cut into the profit margin, and possibly even hinder sales due to the higher cost.

Got this mask in the mail Wednesday.  It looks just like Dr Terror's pictures.  The paint job is a natural-looking matt and not shiny.

Glad to see that it is nice and thick.  Very Sturdy.  The strap that holds it on the head is wide and quite strong.  The little cord between the eyes simply holds it on the hanging card.

This would look good as a wall hanger.

I think it is worth the $20.00.

No, nothing between the eyelids.

Yeah, just some plastic eyeballs I popped in.       Id love to see their other Uni monsters done like this.

This is so cool. Will add this to my collection.
These are made from the same sculpt/mold as their full head Karloff mask by Justin Mabry
Seen that they should release their Karloff Mummy in this injection molded version too.
From the full head mask sculpt by Peter Murphy.

Hope they do a line of these style masks, love the retro vibe of them. Even make new sculpts of the Classic Monsters for this line.

The Trick or Treat Studios site says they are "Injection Molded."   They certainly are a LOT thicker and more rigid than the old vacuum-formed masks that we had as kids.

So far, Frankenstein is the only Classic Universal Monster they offer in this style.

Bringing this thread back to life, I must concur with all the comments here, this mask is Fantastic!
I was hoping that my local, crappy Halloween store would have offered these.  So I got it online, and was surprised at the size, and rigid, solid construction of this piece.  Very well made, it is thin plastic, but yet very firm, and displayable.  No thin old Halloween plastic mask of yesteryear, this will be a lasting classic collectible for all Halloween's to come!

Highly recommended, best get it while you can, as TOTS no longer makes them with the law suit with Uni, and this leaves me dreaming of what else they could have released with this type mask line.
They made a Karloff Mummy, seen in their catalog, in this line, that was never released due to law suit.

I have ordered their Phantom human mask disguise from this line, due in Dec. hope this means the line won't be dropped altogether.  Their recent con display was small on offerings, but they had the Chaney Wolf Man rubber mask still, so perhaps they will make a line of Chaney 1/2 masks like these too.
