Such a unique talent. Blow by Blow is one of my favorite albums. RIP Legend
What's most disturbing is that Jeff Beck was known to be clean living unlike some of his contemporary still living guitar legends, e.g. Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page. He was basically straight and drank only very moderately. But he somehow contracted bacterial meningitis and it killed him quickly.

When some famous people die you think of all the wonderful things they've done and accomplished in their careers and will miss them but you know their best days were long behind them but not so with Jeff Beck (as with Jimi Hendrix or any star who's died young) I will miss what he could've done had he only lived longer.
Rest in Peace Maestro, the World has lost a Treasure.
Still one of my favorites. A man who could always do more with less. The track "Angel (Footsteps)" from Who Else (1999) is a great example of this. So sad to hear of his death. Over 14 days after his death, and I still can't grasp how he died so quickly!
