Bloody Disgusting has posted an article that Universal plans on opening a year round horror themed attraction in Las Vegas.
Saw this quote on the Interweb:
"Universal Parks & Resorts announced plans on Wednesday to construct a "one-of-a-kind" family-friendly park outside Dallas and a horror-themed attraction in Las Vegas, adding to Universal's portfolio of massive parks as it competes with Disney. Universal Studios announced plans to construct a family-friendly park in Texas."
Looks like they are thinking about spreading out the monsters into new territory.

I'm more worried by the "family-friendly". Sounds like the Disney version of Halloween nights.

Sounds like two different things to me, Dallas is "family-friendly" while Las Vegas is "horror-themed"....although I'm sure it won't only be aimed at adults.
