It's been a while since I've sold on eBay, and I don't see the option to do a BIN only. All I see is the auction with added BIN. Anybody know how to do a BIN only?
Mike, it the pricing box, I think you have to click change on the right hand side. The you should be able to turn on the buy-it-now.

Here's what I get. There's no way to do a BIN only, without the auction.

If you just do BIN, it won't show up where most people look, so it's better to do it as an auction. (I have seen countless auction/offer items sell fast and for more funds than the same products in the BIN section. People just don't see them.) You can do an auction with offers, and that basically functions as a BIN used to.
Good luck with eBay. The new bank account thing took me about an hour to make work on eBay's end. So annoying we can't do Paypal anymore.

Or you can do auction with a BIN, which is what I've been doing. I still see people doing BIM only, but I don't know how they do it.

Why can't you do PP? That's what I use on my auctions.
Paypal still works for Ebay purchases.

Yes, you can pay with Paypal if you're a buyer, but sellers cannot collect through Paypal anymore. You have to have it go to a bank account. So basically, the buyer pays eBay via Paypal, then eBay releases the funds to your bank account, as opposed to getting paid directly from the buyer through Paypal.
Is that so they can send you a 1099 at the end of the year?

I kinda like it. eBay does all that work, instead of me. ;D
(When you start a sentence with "eBay", do you cap the "E", and if so, do you also cap the "B"?)

Oh, it's fine when it's set up... but getting the eBay account to talk to the bank for set up was a pain.

Don't remember doing that, either.
Guess I'll write eBay the way eBay does.

I just had to do it yesterday. It was awful.
I go eBay as well.

They just send the money to the bank and a couple of days later it shows up in my account.

Yeah, but the initial set up. They made me send microdeposits, and they wouldn't go through. Then they wanted me to log in to the account from eBay, and it said it couldn't connect. Finally, I got it, but it was a pain. I heard this is a newer thing, so if you had your account linked previously, you don't have to do this, but I hadn't sold in years.

I never did anything like that, unless it was 20 years ago.

It was weird. I sold something a few days ago, and then eBay said I wouldn't get my money until Halloween, and I'm like, "Whaaaa?" I have sold things for years on eBay and always got paid right away, so why are they holding my money? This is the same account I've always used. I'm not new. Never had any issues or negative feedback. Then, in a separate message on my seller page, they told me my bank account was not set up, even though I did it last week. They told me I needed to send microdeposits. So I tried doing this about 8 times, and eBay said none went through. So....... if this happens to you, you have been forewarned.

BIN's get seen just like any other listings in chronological order when first listed. Its when BINs get relisted that they won't show up as a new listing. It will show when it was first listed..

Good to know. Thanks for clarifying. Is that with an automatic relist?
