Just got my copy a couple of days ago. It would be hard for me to pick a single favorite George Pal film, but THE TIME MACHINE would certainly be in my Top 3. Composer Russell Garcia's soundtrack manages to capture the excitement and wonder of H.G. Wells' story, with music as imaginative as the images onscreen. Listening to the score, we are taken through drama, romance and adventure, invoking echoes of nostalgia that, at times, is tinged with the bittersweet. A number of the expanded music cues here contain material that has never been released before. That, coupled with the insightful booklet, make this a great presentation for fantasy film fans. Even if there were no film to go with Russell Garcia's music, this would still be a symphonic treat all on its own. And, as a bonus, a suite of music from Garcia's score for another George Pal film, 1961's ATLANTIS: THE LOST CONTINENT, is also included on the CD
So far, I think this is the only source for it: https://puppetoon.net/products/timemachine (https://puppetoon.net/products/timemachine)
Thanks, BB8 :)
I just bought the TM CD and the Puppetoons V2 DVD.
The third Volume of Puppetoons is in the works, and will include WESTERN DAZE, an early Paramount Puppetoon animated by a young lad named Ray Harryhausen. (One of the handful he worked on before going into the army. Those were Ray's first job as a professional animator.)
