Title: Need help sourcing this Dracula poster

I think this is cool and would like it framed in a "Dracula" themed corner of the wall that I'm working on. I need a better quality version and would love to track down where it came from. It looks like a page in a magazine, but Google searches have yielded no results in figuring out what magazine that might be.

If I fail to track it down, I might try to recreate it in Photoshop so I can have a high-resolution version, but then I guess I'll need to source the highest-quality image I can of that photo of Bela. Thanks, everyone!

How about the classic 1960s 6 ft. door poster they used to advertise in the monster mags? Originals are scarce, but one of our members was selling repros.

There was a matching (style wise) Frankenstein poster.

I did a Google search for the author's name in that magazine piece, Jimmie R. Vestal.  I wonder if it might be this guy:

He's a musician with a love of old movies and drive-ins.  If it is him, might be worth trying to drop him a line to ask about the article.

Thanks, I should do just that! It can't be that common of a name. I actually originally saw this poster on actor Tony Todd's instagram, I was thinking about messaging him too, haha. But I'll try emailing this Jimmie guy.

That's part of a brief pictorial article in Famous Monsters #30, 1964. (There is actually a final page showing "his weaknesses" as well -- only 6 in total, lucky fella -- if you're curious.)

Very EZ to find on eBay, currently at $40 & up. Then make an enlarged scan: 200%, or twice size, should yield an honorable 16"x21" poster. Any bigger & the image quality might suffer, but you could give it a try.

P.S. You can see the article & mag in their entirety on internet archive (archive.org), do a search for "famous monsters of filmland 030". It can be downloaded, but is lo res.
