Title: Fathead Universal Monsters
Post by: zombiehorror on December 27, 2021, 04:27:14 PM
I had no idea Fathead did more than Nascar, football and sports. Personally I think they are a little pricey but figured some here might be interested if they have some disposable cash.

They have all the core monsters to choose from,

I wouldn't mind having that Creature package and the big Creature head!  :)  The price isn't all that bad.

That photo is on the Fathead website.

So the pinball machine is a Gottlieb King Kool from 1972 but with a generic white cabinet somehow. Here's how a King Kool looks:

And here's one in action:

I love those Gottlieb electro-mechanical machines with that great Gordon Morison artwork!

Wow!  Thanks for sharing!  I ordered the Frank, Drac, Creech, and Mummy heads and the new style guide art (which is phenomenal) set.

What does it mean on these sets where it says $24.99 - $109.99? What's $24.99?

When you go to the web page, there are decal sets listed in the Size dropdown menu. The Creature set for $24.99 is for the large full size character (10x16) plus 2 other decals: https://fathead.com/products/m1900-01949-001?variant=39484537307224

Thanks! I didn't even notice that. I wouldn't mind having the life size one, but not for 90 bucks.

Got the Frankenstein Fathead today.

Whatever image source they used was rendered way too soft focus in the enlargement process.  The image being adhered to the poster board caused it to warp inward and it has three major wrinkles running vertically.  They lessen a lot by forcing the thing to lie flat, but it isn't worth the effort - It still looks badly out of focus.

Completely worthless.

I got mine, and they are pretty soft in terms of focus.  I'd say the Frankenstein is one of the better ones... Kind of disappointing for the price, but still cool.
