Title: Night of the Meek (1960)
Post by: BigShadow on December 17, 2021, 03:10:27 AM
Night of the Meek is one of my favorite Christmas shows.  Art Carney does a superb job playing the drunkin Santa that has a heart of gold.  The show really makes you think and feel sorry for Henry and what he is going through.  The best line of the show is the little kid: "Santa is loaded."

Great episode! Too bad it was shot on tape (vs. film). There's only so much clean-up you can do on 60+ year old tape.

And it really shows Art Carney's range as a actor. When this came out, he was primarily known for his Honeymooners pure comedy stint.
