Ian Holm died on June 19. He was 88.
We all knew him as "Ash" in A L I E N and from TIME BANDITS and BRAZIL and as "Bilbo Baggins" in the LOTR and THE HOBBIT trilogies.
So sad to hear this. He was also Victor Frankenstein's father in Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.
