I thought you all might be interested in this; it's a proposed Universal Monsters set on Lego Ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/091e1000-869b-4882-b6ae-fbc0e7ebbdad
I'm not too familiar with this, but from what I can gather if this set gets enough support by a potential date it goes to expert review and could potentially be made. I know that's a REAL long shot, but I thought this might be interesting to the people on this board nonetheless. I've always thought a Universal Monsters Lego set/sets would be really cool.
Got my support.
I bought a bunch of the Lego "Monster Fighters", LOTR and other random sets to kitbash and make
sets for my Universal Monsters Minimates. This would be great too!
Where's the Creature and the Mummy!!! Not a good idea without the Creature and the Mummy. Unless they plan to add characters and other environments later in the future. As a starter set good Idea.

This is a fantastic idea! Hope it all works out.
Seems to be a great idea.
I just supported it. This is really cool. I just finished building the haunted house from the Monster Fighters set they did back in 2012/13. It would be awesome to have a licensed Universal piece to go with it!
WOW!
This would be a sort of dream come true if it ever happened.
Of course, Lego has done many monster themed sets before. Though, none based explicitly off the Universal Monster films. That worries me that that would make this less likely to happen. But we can all dream.
For any LEGO fans out there, someone put a Universal Monsters set on LEGO Ideas. If this is something that would interest you, definitely feel free to add your support: https://beta.ideas.lego.com/product-ideas/b3baa869-fd9a-42b4-b47d-ef2a4e0a6f4c
This set currently has 9,686 supporters (out of 10,000 needed), and has 592 days to get the remaining supporters. So it has a good chance of getting the 10,000 supporters needed to go to review by LEGO!
For those unfamiliar with LEGO Ideas, it allows fans to submit their own LEGO set designs, which the community can then vote for online. If a project gathers at least 10,000 supporters, it goes to a LEGO review board for potential production into an official, retail set. Every year LEGO releases new sets that originated on LEGO Ideas, I know they announced six new ones this morning (including sets based on IP like E.T., Smurfs and Power Rangers).

My daughter has a Lego account and already backed it, but I joined on my own email and backed it myself. Fingers crossed it gets made! My daughter has most of the Monster Fighters sets and the Haunted Houses, but we need official Universal Monsters!
Not into Legos at all but I forwarded to a friend who is and said they would support it. I'd say with this level of interest, as was the case with the '66 Batmobile (which I love but still didn't buy- not a Lego guy) if they can get the license I think it will get made.
This hit the 10,000 supporters needed (that didn't take long), so this will go to review by Lego. Here's hoping they turn it into an actual set! I'll keep an eye on things and provide an update when we get one. It might not be for awhile though lol
I'll be honest. I occasionally have dreams where I'm buying Lego Universal Monsters sets at the store. I'm really hopeful.
Lego already having active licenses with Universal like Jurassic World, Back to the Future and E.T. will hopefully help this become a reality.

Technically, they did do a single Universal Monsters product, already.

Ha, that's right, and I have that one! So yes, there is precedent there.
I'm surprised they never did more of those. Dracula at least would seem like a good idea.

They were poor sellers.
