He was a pretty good actor that appeared in all genres and in many movies and much TV. One of those familiar faces that added entertainment value to whatever he was in.
This crowd will probably remember him as the sheriff in Eaten Alive. This feels like an appropriate time to pull my copy off the shelf and watch it again - it's been a while.
His first movie (or TV) part was as "Man by Bank During Instigation" in "When Worlds Collide". I'll have to remember to look for him, next time I watch it.
He was once in an episode of "Harry O". Can you imagine him and David Jansen in a scene together? If you closed your eyes, you wouldn't know which one was talking! ;D
