Jack Sheldon - 1931-2019
Jack Died on December 27, 2019.
He was an off-beat west coast jazz eter from the Chet Baker generation. A favorite of mine, he was funny and played a mean horn. He would play anywhere, just for the fun of it. An unpredictable character, he was known to keep an auditorium of paying customers waiting while he played to the passing people in the street outside for free.
