No pictures yet, but I saw them up for pre-order on Big Bad Toy Store. The line includes:
-Deadite Scout
-Pit Witch
-Evil Ash
-Two Headed Ash
-Medieval Ash
-Ash
I don't like the 3 3/4 scale and would prefer an AoD line in a seven inch scale, honestly. But I love the lineup announced thus far and Evil Dead is my primary collector's passion, so depending on how they look, I'll probably wind up collecting the entire set. 17.99 is pretty steep for a four inch figure with limited articulation, though.
Good to know that these are coming and knowing Super7 the card art will be amazing. Evil dead 3 is my least favourite of the trilogy but there are still a few you've mentioned that I'll probably go for.
I still love what Super7 thinks up to release and although the figures can be a bit hit or miss at times i still think they do a great job with the artwork and packaging. At this stage it's all about finding space to display things and it has become tight with DD, Mego, Neca, Super7 and general vintage toy lines so I'm tending to have to be more selective with my collecting than I used to be (it's still too hard hard to move a lot of things I have on to make room).
Thanks for the heads up though and look forward to seeing some images (as well as the next Mego wave).
Ian
As I stated, I'm not much for 3 3/4 inch figures because I tend to open a lot of my collectibles and small figures tend to look cluttered on a shelf. And given that they are designed to look vintage is just another knock against them for me. Vintage figures for me are cool because they're old. I far prefer modern figure designs, so making something look old when it's not kind of defeats the purpose. If the card art is good, I might keep them packaged. Like I said, Evil Dead is my favorite franchise, so I'm more inclined to purchase items that I wouldn't otherwise if it's got Evil Dead on the packaging.
I really wish we could get a line of larger figures from Army of Darkness. McFarlane had released an Ash and Evil Ash figure in the early 2000s, and they were pretty bad. NECA released a Medieval Ash a while ago, and I wonder if they still have the license. I'd love to get Ultimate editions of Medieval Ash and Evil Ash, but until such a time, I guess the smaller figures will have to do.

I'd like to see a nice line of 6 inch figures. That is large enough to give more detail and additional articulation. (It always bugs me that knees don't bend, allowing figures to sit.) But still small enough to keep production costs down for toy manufacturers and kids who would like some toys that don't carry such high collector prices.
That is also a common 1:12 scale where a lot of doll house furniture, etc. is available for making custom dioramas and the like without having to devote too much space.
Just my rather limited thinking.

Look into some cheap, clear acrylic risers like the stores use to display items on their shelves. eBay is a good source. They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes.
And you don't even need to worry about getting some lightly used or seconds. When they are covered with figures and other small items, no one will notice.
Awesome. Cannot wait to see photos .
