NEW YORK (Feb. 10) - Phil Carey, best known for his role as business tycoon Asa Buchanan in the ABC soap opera "One Life to Live," has died. He was 83.
Carey made an appearance on a ground-breaking early episode All in the Family as a supposedly "macho" patron at Kelsey's Bar who admitted to Archie that he was gay. He was also in the 1964 film The Time Travelers and the TV movie Scream of the Wolf.
