It's been a rough couple weeks. My brother-in-law, Jake passed away on 8/16 and we said our final farewells last Friday, 8/23. He was a good man and treated my sister very kindly for 27 years. We were close. He was a big fan of our horror/monster films and classic comedies. We enjoyed many good times watching Svengoolie together, even up to shortly before his death. Another painful loss to cancer.
I'm so sorry to hear about your brother-in-law. It's such a tragedy when someone is taken before their time. Only remember the good times you shared. R.I.P.

Dude. I am so sorry for your loss. Losing someone close is brutal. Including my late wife I have been thru it too many times. Talk to people/familiy about your feelings. It does help in the long run. I wish you well.
