This might be my brother's birthday/ christmas present. It's lovely.
I suspect this will win the 2019 Rondo Award...easily. Criterion never disappoints, and I'm so happy every beloved Godzilla feature film from my youth is getting their elaborate care and treatment!
On sale at Amazon for $113. That's less than $8 a movie. Not bad at all.
I have it on good authority Santa is bringing me one of these sets for Christmas :)

Got this set for my son. We spent a lot of Christmas Day watching the dvds! I thought they did a nice job with the art and information on the films.

Saw this at Barnes & Noble the other day for $250. Although I prefer to support brink and mortar stores, the price is just too much for my wallet. I'll just check amazon or eBay. Looks amazing though.

During Christmas time, you could find this set for as low as $90 during one of Criterion's flash sales. I pre-ordered it up through Amazon for $150 or so. Wish I would've waited a bit.

How was the quality of what you could watch?
Got mine for Christmas. Was very disappointed that most of the films didn't contain any English dub at all, but oh well, I've got my old DVDs for that I suppose. My only hope was that the dubs originally used for the American releases would be included, but I know Toho doesn't own those and the legality is questionable. Oh well. Maybe in my dreams.
Strange, the films that I watched with my son were all dubbed in English. I just assumed my son chose the English versions to take pity on his old man? He took the set home with him after Christmas but I'll have to ask him about the languages.
