I thought she left us years ago. Not much of a fan since my childhood ,but my late Mother was a HUGE fan and would often hum Hello Dolly while cooking or ironing clothes.

Sad news, but 97's a pretty good run. What a wonderful lady & a wonderful talent.

I remember seeing her on talk shows when I was a kid. Didn't know that she was still alive. R.I.P. Carol. :(
