Just saw this a few minutes ago. It had to happen eventually but still sad. I'm sure that Stan and everything he did had an impact on everyone on this board. THANKS Stan, for all the great times.
Wow, this is unreal. He was always there to brighten my youth. I snuck my Marvel comics to church so I wouldn't be bored to tears. Thank you for your service, Mr. Lee, R.I.P.
I just saw this, too. Sad, sad news. RIP Stan.
The great ones continue to pass.
Excelsior!, Stan "The Man" Lee
The future Marvel movies won't be the same without his customary cameo.
Yes, I am completely enchanted with his ongoing cameos, and I was heartbroken earlier to learn about some of his so-called family and/or staff doing him dirty. That was depressing... I was thinking, "I bet he wishes he could just get outta this!" Sigh... age 95.
I'm not usually shocked at the death of a 95 year old, but I was, on seeing the notice in the news.
R.I.P., Stan!
I was lucky enough to meet Stan years ago, before geekdom became cool. He was really a down to earth guy; easy to talk with and humble. Losing him is like losing a distant relative . To those of us who grew up '60's he was one of us. RIP Stan.

One of the biggest contributors to pop culture that has ever lived. You could not say enough about what he contributed to the entertainment industry.
Can't thank the man enough. R.I.P Stan.

In addition to his great comic creations, I also loved his 'Monsters to Laugh With' mags as a kid. RIP Stan and thank you.
R.I.P. Stan ... :(
Granted I was a DC stalwart during my main comic buying years as a kid from 1962 to 1965. But there's no way I can deny that Stan Lee was responsible for creating a very readable product line over at Marvel. The one interrelated Universe that the heroes inhabited from the start made it difficult to read just one Marvel comic. Moreover Stan Lee was "with it" unlike so many other comic editors. He had the ability to speak to his young readership on a level to which they could relate, e.g. Real Frantic One, the Merry Marvel Marching Society. He thus made his young readers feel part of it all and the Marvel zombies he created resulted in the rapid growth of comic fandom in the late sixties.Without Stan Lee, superheroes wouldn't be the mega franchise they are today. I don't know if any other single individual had as much impact on pop culture as did Stan Lee in the last 55+ years.
R.I.P. to Stan Lee, one of the very greatest cultural icons of the 20th century.

I forget how many were done or have already been used, but some time ago a number of cameos with Stan were shot back-to-back for future use in upcoming Marvel movies. (This may have been done out of concern over his failing eyesight.) So we should have a few final appearances to look forward to.
All of Stan's Marvel cameos (till Feb. 2018).

I read that Stan has filmed a bunch of cameos for future Marvel movies.
